Salò: sports and volunteering at the heart of the weekend
During the weekend from September 12 to 14, Salò is set to celebrate its associative fabric with the event “Salò City of Sport,” which will take place in the historic center and along the lakeside until 10 PM. This event promises to highlight local volunteering, combining sports with civic participation. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore various sports disciplines, including soccer, volleyball, karate, fencing, rowing, cycling, and triathlon, thanks to the collaboration of active associations in the area. Every evening at 8:30 PM, there will be performances by competitive athletes.
In addition to the sporting aspect, Sunday, September 14, will be dedicated to the 26th edition of “100 Associations”, a historic showcase for volunteering and local associations. From 10 AM to 6 PM, dozens of stands along the lakeside will present activities related to civil protection, social services, culture, environment, and art. This event represents an important opportunity to learn about the associative realities that actively contribute to the life of the Salò community.
