SP9 closed in Gargnano: works for road safety improvements
Road Safety Measures: SP9 Gargnano-Valvestino-Magasa Closed for One Month. Starting at 8 AM on Monday, September 22, and lasting until 6 PM on Tuesday, October 23, the provincial road SP9 will be closed to traffic in the section from Molino di Bollone to the hilltop village of Navazzo, within the municipality of Gargnano. This closure is necessary to allow for consolidation and safety works on the road, entrusted to a team of specialized rock climbers.
The work will take place at two active construction sites simultaneously and will include the installation of nets and rockfall barriers, as well as the reconstruction of the road surface following the landslide that occurred in September of last year due to heavy rainfall. The construction areas will be under video surveillance to ensure safety during the operation.
