A 63-year-old man, already convicted for drug trafficking, was arrested during the night between Wednesday and Thursday while on vacation in Lazise. The intervention by the Carabinieri from the Peschiera del Garda Mobile Unit led to the capture of the Dutch citizen, who was wanted under a prison order issued by the Judicial Authority of Rome. The arrest took place inside a tourist facility along the lakeside, where the man was accompanied by his family. The conviction that led to the arrest stems from a final ruling by the Tribunal of Rome, which sentenced him to five years and six months in prison for offenses related to drug trafficking. After the necessary procedures, the individual was transferred to the Verona-Montorio Prison to serve his sentence.
