A site inspection took place on November 19 at the construction site for the Rovizza interchange, a project deemed crucial for improving the traffic flow in the Lower Garda area. Present at the inspection were the provincial councilor for roads, Paolo Fontana, as well as the mayors of Pozzolengo and Sirmione. Thanks to funding from the Lombardy Region and the Province of Brescia, work is progressing rapidly to complete the infrastructure left unfinished by Veneto Strade Spa. The aim is to finish the project by the end of the year, ensuring a more direct connection between Pozzolengo and the lakeside areas. The new route includes a roundabout in the municipality of Pozzolengo and a short stretch of road in the municipality of Peschiera del Garda. This project will not only enhance access to the lake but also represents a significant step towards a more sustainable road network in the area, which attracts substantial tourist traffic. The involved mayors expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the work, emphasizing the importance of the project for road safety and local economic development. The total cost of the intervention is estimated at 2,400,000 euros, fully funded by the Lombardy Region. Italian Version
