A tragic incident in Castiglione delle Stiviere occurred this morning, Tuesday, September 23, when a 54-year-old woman lost her life after being crushed by her own car. The alert for an emergency rescue was triggered around 8:30 AM in the residential area of Via Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, where the victim, Patrizia Sciambarella, a well-known nurse in the city, was attempting to close the garage’s rolling door. Her car, left in neutral and without the handbrake engaged, began to roll backward, striking her. Despite the immediate intervention of emergency services, including an ambulance and a medical vehicle that transported the woman in critical condition to the Civile Hospital of Castiglione delle Stiviere, the doctors could only confirm her death due to severe head and abdominal injuries.
