Malcesine: paragliding accident, fire department intervention

Moments of concern unfolded this afternoon in Malcesine, where a paraglider became stranded in a tall cypress tree, several meters off the ground. The incident occurred along State Road 249 during the landing phase when the man lost control of his aircraft, ending up among the branches of the tree with no means to descend on his own. The alert was raised around 3:30 PM, promptly activating the firefighters from Riva del Garda, who utilized an aerial platform to reach and rescue the paraglider. The operation concluded successfully when the firefighters managed to safely bring the man back to the ground. Local police from Malcesine were also present at the scene, conducting the necessary investigations.
