Trentino will host the Super World Cycling Championships 2031

The 2023 Cycling World Championships will take place in Trentino, as officially announced by the International Cycling Union during the congress in Kigali, Rwanda. The voting, which occurred yesterday, favored the Trentino bid, which is preparing to host an event of significant international importance. The president of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, emphasized the significance of this recognition, highlighting the region’s proven capabilities in organizing international sporting events. The World Championships will bring together all major cycling disciplines and is expected to see the participation of over 10,000 athletes. The event will be unprecedented in size and variety, with more than 200 rainbow jerseys at stake and a large media following anticipated. Fugatti assured that Trentino will be ready to take on this organizational challenge.
