A series of meetings titled “Dialogue with Mathematics” will begin on Tuesday, October 7, at the ACLI Circle in Desenzano del Garda, aimed at exploring the importance of mathematics in everyday life. The first session will be led by Professor Alfredo Marzocchi, who will discuss the topic “Mathematics: a Science for Life, the Universe, and Everything.” This event marks the start of a series of meetings that will take place every Tuesday until November 4, featuring experts from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Brescia. The initiative is sponsored by the City of Desenzano del Garda, highlighting the cultural value of the event for the community. The gatherings aim to promote a science culture and attract a young audience, and will also include lectures on medicine and cryptography.
