The Salò conference dedicated to Don Gianni Capra will take place on Saturday, October 4th at 10 AM in the Sala dei Provveditori of the town hall, with free admission. This event marks the sixtieth anniversary of Don Gianni’s arrival in the lakeside town, which occurred on October 3, 1965. During the conference, organized by the Municipality, the Parish, and the University, his significant contributions to the local community will be remembered, including the division of the parish into seven deaconates and the care of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the River. The meeting will feature the participation of several notable figures, including Mayor Francesco Cagnini, Parish Priest Monsignor Luigi Carminati, and University President Andrea Crescini. Also in attendance will be Pino Mongiello, former mayor of Salò, Monsignor Francesco Beschi, Bishop of Bergamo, and journalist Massimo Tedeschi.
