Toscolano Maderno: helicopter rescue for severe chest trauma

An 81-year-old man suffered a serious accident on Sunday, October 5, in Toscolano Maderno, where he was found injured in a wooded area behind the Bornico olive mill, near the Fasano district. After hours of searching conducted by family and friends, the man was located by rescuers in critical condition due to a significant fall that caused him a chest trauma. The Garda Volunteers and the Salò Fire Brigade were dispatched to the scene. Given the severity of his injuries, an air ambulance from Brescia was requested. Once stabilized on the stretcher, the injured man was airlifted in critical condition to the Civile Hospital in Brescia to receive the necessary care.
