Cycling accident in Nago-Torbole: a 68-year-old man from Verona is in serious condition

A bicycle accident involved a 68-year-old cyclist from Verona on the afternoon of Sunday, October 5, along the cycling path at Passo San Giovanni, in the area of Nago-Torbole. The man, a resident of Pescantina, was riding down a slope when he lost control of his bicycle and collided with a column near a picnic area. The impact was significant and required the immediate intervention of emergency services, promptly alerted by some passersby. Emergency medical personnel from Trentino Emergenza arrived at the scene with an ambulance and a medical car from Rovereto, along with firefighters from Riva del Garda to coordinate the rescue operations. Due to the cyclist’s serious condition, which was stabilized at the scene, an air ambulance was requested for urgent transport to the Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento, where the man is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
