Murder in Lonato del Garda: mother and son arrested for shooting

A tragic murder has shaken Lonato del Garda, where Dolores Dori was shot and killed on the evening of October 2. Today, her 59-year-old mother and 16-year-old son have been arrested on charges of attempted aggravated murder, threats, and illegal possession of firearms. The measures were carried out by the carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of Brescia and the Desenzano Company at the request of the Public Prosecutors’ Offices of Brescia, both the ordinary and juvenile divisions. The investigations have revealed that the shooting stemmed from a conflict between Sinti families over sentimental issues involving their children. During the ambush, the minor allegedly filmed the events on his mobile phone, while the mother and grandmother went to the local Roma camp to confront some rivals. Following a series of crossfire shots, Dolores Dori was fatally struck. Currently, the mother is detained in Verziano prison, and the son at the Beccaria juvenile institute in Milan; their responsibilities will be determined in court. Italian Version
