Mariastella Gelmini has been reconfirmed as the head of the Garda Community for the next five years, following a meeting where her reelection occurred unanimously. During the meeting, the new board was also established, which includes key figures from the Brescia area such as the mayor of Salò, Francesco Cagnini, along with Luisa Lavelli, the mayor of Sirmione, and Alessandro Spaggiari, the mayor of Soiano. The board is further enriched by the presence of representatives from other provinces, including Massimiliano Rossi from Ponti sul Mincio and Gianni Morandi from Nago Torbole. The interregional body based in Salò has the fundamental task of representing the municipalities and territorial realities of the Garda region, playing a crucial role in coordinating local policies and ensuring respect for the decision-making autonomy of various municipalities and other institutional authorities. With this new reelection, Gelmini aims to continue promoting collaboration among different entities to address the future challenges of the community. Italian Version
