A fire broke out around 4 AM in a four-story building located on Cornella Street in Gardone Riviera, forcing the evacuation of ten people. Firefighters were promptly mobilized with two teams from Salò and an additional team from Brescia, also deploying a water tanker and a ladder truck to access the upper floors. The flames appear to have originated from the ground-floor apartment of the caretaker, while the exact causes of the incident are still under investigation. During the operations, two individuals suffered from smoke inhalation; one of them, the caretaker, required resuscitation and was subsequently rushed to Gavardo Hospital. The other ten evacuated residents were able to return to their homes around 7:30 AM, after the situation was brought under control by the emergency services. Italian Version
