Recovery on Pizzoccolo: praise for the alpine rescue and the Firefighters

A rescue operation took place on Sunday, October 12, on the eastern ridge of Pizzoccolo, where a family consisting of a father, a 16-year-old boy, and a 9-year-old child found themselves in difficulty. Thanks to the prompt intervention of the mountain rescue team and the Firefighters of Salò, the situation was resolved positively. The father, Swen, expressed his gratitude for the assistance received, highlighting the impressive skills of the pilots and the professionalism of the entire crew. In his communication, Swen also shared the challenges faced in contacting the rescue services due to the language barrier, which complicated the description of their location. Despite the critical moment, the father wanted to thank everyone who contributed to the rescue and concluded by stating that this experience would remain etched in their memories. Italian Version
