Giustacchini awarded at the Giallo Garda Festival in Gardone Riviera

During the Giallo Garda Festival, held on Sunday at the Vittoriale, the career award was presented to the Brescia-based writer and journalist Enrico Giustacchini, known for his novels featuring the character Judge Albertano. The festival jury honored Giustacchini for his ability to reinvent this historical figure as an investigator while providing an accurate depiction of a fascinating medieval Brescia. The award was presented by the festival president, Laura Marsadri, and the jury president, Carlo Zaza. Giustacchini expressed his gratitude through social media, calling the event an unforgettable day and dedicating the award to his wife and the Albertano Fan Club. With eleven published novels and as many editions of the festival, the writer emphasized the coincidence between his work and the cultural event that celebrates the mystery genre, which today receives less attention than in the past.
