Nature Conference at the Abbey of Maguzzano: Events in Lonato
A conference titled “Nature, the Betrayed Mother” will take place on Saturday, October 18, at 3:30 PM at the Abbey of Maguzzano. The aim of the event is to stimulate reflection on the interconnections between religions and nature, as well as the importance of legal recognition for physical entities. The meeting is organized by the Federation for the Recognition of the Rights of Lake Garda and will feature experts such as Pasquale Viola, a professor of European and Comparative Environmental Law, and Andrea Dall’Asta, a Jesuit Father and Director of the San Fedele Gallery/Museum in Milan. During the conference, significant presentations will explore various themes, including the sacredness of the Earth in India, presented by Marilia Albanese, a professor at the University of Milan, and the indigenous cosmologies of the Colombian Amazon, analyzed by Nicola Zengiaro from the University of Turin. This event represents an important opportunity to discuss the relationships between the natural environment and spiritual practices in the context of the events in Lonato. Italian Version
