Mountain Safety: Interventions by the Alpine Rescue in Toscolano Maderno

On **October 18**, technicians from the Valle Sabbia Station, part of the Cnsas – National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps, carried out a significant rescue operation in the municipality of **Toscolano Maderno**. In the Sanico area, at an altitude of about 950 meters, a woman became stranded on a cliff after straying from the trail and falling over a rock ledge. The rescue teams, comprised of Cnsas members and supported by a technician from the Valle Trompia Station and the Fire Brigade, managed to reach her and secure her using rope maneuvers. This operation follows a previous intervention that took place just a week ago, when four individuals were trapped on the southeast ridge of Pizzocolo, at an altitude of approximately 1,300 meters; among them was a family with a 9-year-old child and a 17-year-old boy. Recent events highlight the importance of **mountain safety** and the need to exercise caution during outdoor activities in rugged terrains. Italian Version
