Libertas Scherma Salò: successes in the Under 14 foil at the interregional trophy

The Libertas Scherma Salò has kicked off the 2025/2026 federal season with an impressive performance at the Lombardy Interregional Trophy, which recently took place. The event featured over 600 athletes from Lombardy and Piedmont, focusing on the Under 14 categories, particularly in foil fencing. Among the fifteen representatives from Libertas, Mattia Salvatore stood out in the Boys/Youth category, securing first place and demonstrating remarkable commitment and technique. In addition to Salvatore’s victory, other team members also achieved significant results: Umberto Aime and Alessandro Molteni finished sixth and seventh, respectively, in the same category. In the boys’ youth competition, Giorgio Giovanni Calderara earned an impressive eighth place. These results highlight the preparation of the group led by Maestro Bacci and his technical staff, marking a promising start to the competitive season. The next event for the Under 14 athletes will be the First National Trial in Brescia on November 8-9, 2025. Italian Version
