Garda Karate Team at the Italian Championship: successes and youth development
The Garda Karate Team achieved remarkable results at the 2025 FIJLKAM Italian Cadet Championship, held on October 25 and 26 at the PalaPellicone in Ostia, a renowned venue for karate in Italy. The competition featured over 800 athletes from across the country, making it one of the most prestigious events on the federation’s calendar. Representing the team were Martina Forgioli, Francesca Viviani, and Luca Arici, all of whom qualified after successfully passing the regional selections, a milestone that highlights the commitment and dedication required to reach this level. Among the noteworthy results, Francesca Viviani’s seventh-place finish in the Kumite category stood out, showcasing her great determination throughout the matches. Luca Arici and Martina Forgioli also delivered significant performances, contributing to their ongoing technical and mental growth.
