Riva del Garda hosts exhibition of historical handmade embroideries

The Arco Ricama association has inaugurated the embroidery exhibition “Embroidery Inspired by the Past, Modern Hands”, which is being held at the “G. Craffonara” Civic Hall in Riva del Garda from November 8 to 16, 2025. The exhibition celebrates the artisanal heritage of Trentino, showcasing works that are entirely handmade and reinterpret historical and decorative motifs. The exhibition is open daily from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with an inauguration scheduled for Saturday, November 8 at 10:30 AM, featuring historian Maria Luisa Crosina. During the event, short demonstration workshops will be organized to engage the public and pass on the art of embroidery to new generations, thus enhancing a traditional practice that risks being forgotten. This initiative represents an opportunity to explore the connection between history and creativity through embroidery, helping to keep alive an art form that unites culture and passion in the local area.
