Joint training in Barbarano: CNSAS and Firefighters united in rescue
A field training day took place yesterday, November 12, 2025, in the location of Barbarano, where technicians from the Valle Sabbia station of the CNSAS – National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps, participated in a joint exercise with the SAF (Speleo Alpine River) personnel from the Salò Fire Brigade. The activity, which occurred in an area characterized by rugged terrain, was designed to test the operational capabilities of the teams and enhance the synergy between the two organizations in alpine rescue operations. During the exercise, essential aspects such as the standardization of operational procedures and communication coordination were addressed. This training also served as a significant opportunity to foster mutual understanding among the operators, who increasingly collaborate in emergency situations. Project leaders emphasized that a structured collaboration between CNSAS and the Fire Brigade can ensure faster and safer interventions for everyone involved. Italian Version
