Labor Inclusion in Brescia: the Rete CAUTO Model

Recently, Rete CAUTO, active in Brescia, presented its strategy for work inclusion, aimed at addressing the increasing vulnerabilities in the area. This network of social cooperatives, operating for over thirty years, has developed a model that goes beyond merely providing employment; it seeks to create personalized pathways for individuals in disadvantaged situations. In 2024, more than 180 candidates sought opportunities through Rete CAUTO, resulting in approximately 40 hires and tailored training programs. The approach is characterized by collaboration between educators and colleagues, fostering an inclusive and sustainable work environment. Additionally, Rete CAUTO has launched projects such as Green Academy and LABORA, aimed at supporting young NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and asylum seekers in their integration into the job market. Thanks to the synergy with social services and local businesses, the inclusion model has exceeded the legal requirement of 30% set by current regulations, currently achieving 41% of employed individuals in disadvantaged conditions. This approach not only addresses the emerging needs of the Brescia community but also serves as a replicable example for other entities in the Third Sector. Italian Version
