Montichiari, violent arrests and drug dealing: two offenders in handcuffs

In recent days, in Montichiari, there have been violent arrests involving two repeat offenders during an operation against drug trafficking. Officers from the Judicial Police Team of the Desenzano del Garda Police Station apprehended two men, Moroccan citizens aged 31 and 39, at a service area along the provincial road BS-236. During the check, the individuals reacted violently, attacking the officers and attempting to run them over with their car. Only the prompt intervention of the officers prevented serious consequences. After a struggle, the police were able to subdue the two men and conduct a search of the vehicle, finding 102 grams of cocaine and 1,200 euros in cash, proceeds from drug dealing. Both were arrested for violence and resisting a public official, as well as for drug trafficking. The injured officers received medical treatment at the hospital, while the Chief of Police of the Province of Brescia took immediate measures against the two arrested individuals, including the revocation of their residence permits and a ban on returning to the municipality for one of the individuals involved.
