The Tour of the Alps has officially unveiled the stages for its 2026 edition, which will take place from April 20 to 24 and will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the memorandum of understanding between Trentino, South Tyrol, and Tyrol. The event will kick off in Innsbruck, featuring a route of 760 km and a total elevation gain of 14,620 meters, passing through iconic cities such as Trento and Bolzano. Notably, the third stage will culminate in Arco, on Lake Garda, a symbolic location for local cycling and the host of the Tour’s organization. Councillor Roberto Failoni emphasized the importance of this event in promoting the region and attracting cycling enthusiasts. Among the innovations for the 2026 edition is the introduction of the “Sprint Bonus,” an intermediate sprint that will make the races even more exciting.
