Salò and its Christmas events: a draw for winter tourism
The Enchanting Christmas in Salò promises to be filled with festive events, confirming the city as an ideal destination for winter tourism. The program, presented by Mayor Francesco Cagnini and other local representatives, will kick off on the first weekend of December and continue until Epiphany. The inauguration of the Christmas lights is scheduled for Friday, December 5th at 5:00 PM, followed by a concert by the Brescia Chamber Orchestra in honor of Marco Enrico Bossi. Among other activities, there will be musical greetings, dances along the lakeside, and the arrival of Santa Lucia. Additionally, the Christmas Markets will enliven Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II with sixteen artisan stalls open until January 6th, while the ice skating rink will be accessible from November 29th to January 18th. The New Year’s Eve celebration will feature a DJ set at the Baden Powell Garden and a fireworks display at midnight. With such a varied calendar, Salò is preparing to welcome residents and tourists into a festive atmosphere that celebrates local traditions and the historical heritage of the city.
