Riva del Garda: cultural events and screening of There’s Still Tomorrow
On Wednesday, November 19th, a screening of the film “There is Still Tomorrow,” directed and starring Paola Cortellesi, will take place in the auditorium of the Community of Valle. The event will begin at 9 PM, and admission is free. This initiative is part of the celebrations for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, which is observed on November 25th. The film tells the story of Delia, a woman trapped in the traditional roles of wife and mother in post-World War II Rome, who finds the courage to seek a better future for herself and her daughter. The plot revolves around Delia’s life, married to Ivano, an authoritarian man who exercises control over the family. With the arrival of spring and the preparations for the engagement of their eldest daughter, Marcella, Delia receives a mysterious letter that prompts her to reconsider her choices.
