Riva del Garda hosts an exhibition on the autonomy of Trentino

In Riva del Garda, on Friday, November 14, the inauguration of the exhibition “Autonomy. The Will of the People is Law” took place, curated by the Trentino Historical Museum Foundation. The event was attended by prominent figures such as the Councillor for the Promotion of Knowledge of Autonomy, Simone Marchiori, the President of the Alto Garda and Ledro Community, Giuliano Marocchi, and the Mayor of Riva del Garda, Alessio Zanoni. The exhibition will be open to the public until December 31, featuring a rich display of historical materials, photographs, and documents that narrate the years of struggle for autonomy, culminating in the granting of the Statute of Autonomy for the Trentino-Alto Adige Region. Particular attention is dedicated to the Regional Association for Autonomy Studies (Asar), in celebration of its 80th anniversary. This initiative is part of the series “Autonomy. The Path of the Trentino Community,” promoted by the office for the Promotion of Knowledge of Autonomy to highlight the significance and values associated with the special autonomy of Trentino.
