On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, an important cultural event will take place tonight, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in Moniga del Garda: the reading Femminile plurale. The event is scheduled for 8:30 PM at the Council Chamber of the Municipality, where the stories and experiences of women, girls, and young women who have suffered abuse and violence will be voiced. The evening will be led by Barbara Pizzetti as the narrator, accompanied by the music of Andrea Bettini on the accordion. The initiative aims to restore dignity to those who have faced physical and psychological mistreatment, highlighting how the fight against violence towards women represents not only an act of denunciation but also a gesture of freedom and hope. Organized in collaboration with the “Aurelio Ghirardi” Municipal Library and supported by the national service 1522, the anti-violence and stalking hotline, the event is free and open to the public. With this reading, Moniga del Garda joins the collective commitment to raise awareness against gender violence, emphasizing the importance of culture and words in promoting awareness and change.
