An important mobilization has affected the local police in Valtenesi, with all agents, around a dozen, submitting a mass request for transfer to other agencies. This action, which took place in recent weeks, marks the peak of a growing discontent regarding working conditions and safety within the force. The officers have stated that their initiative is neither a threat nor an escape, but a necessary response to years of dedication without the recognition of promised family and legal protections. In particular, the officers are calling for an adjustment of the regulatory framework and recognition of the functions they perform, highlighting that their requests have been ignored despite the increase in administrative and judicial police activities. The local police refers to the Union of municipalities and the involved municipalities: Manerba, Moniga, Padenghe, and Soiano. The officers are now awaiting responses from the competent institutions and the opportunity to open a dialogue to discuss the issues raised. Italian Version
