In Salò, a concert in tribute to Marco Enrico Bossi will be held to commemorate the centenary of his passing. During the evening, the Brescia Chamber Orchestra “Filippo Lama” will perform works by the renowned composer from Salò, alongside music by W.A. Mozart and F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, as part of the “Marco Enrico Bossi” Music Festival, which celebrates the artistic legacy of the musician. Marco Enrico Bossi, born in Salò in 1861 and who passed away in 1925 during an Atlantic crossing, was an important Italian organist and composer. His career took him across Europe and the United States, making significant contributions to organ music and music education in Italian conservatories.
