A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd at 8:30 PM in the Wimmer Hall to present the project for the redevelopment of the former Casino in Gardone Riviera, overseen by the Massari family. During the event, the municipal administration will outline the details of the intervention and the potential challenges associated with the ongoing work. The plan aims to transform the former restaurant and surrounding spaces into a gastronomic hub dedicated to events, aperitifs, and ceremonies, with the goal of celebrating “the beautiful and the good,” as stated by master pastry chef Iginio Massari. The historic structure, built in 1908 in the Art Nouveau style, represents a symbol of the Gardone Belle Époque. The contract signed between the municipality and the Massari family’s company stipulates that the property will be used for commercial activities related to dining. The total investment amounts to several million euros, in addition to annual rental costs of 150,000 euros, plus 10,000 euros for the beachside bar. The construction site has already commenced work in recent days, marking the beginning of a new phase for this emblematic building. Italian Version
