AVIS Party in Limone: Celebration of Blood Donors from Alto Garda

The Avis association of Salò celebrated a day dedicated to the blood donors of the Alto Garda region yesterday, Tuesday, December 2, bringing together volunteers from the municipalities of Magasa, Valvestino, Tignale, Tremosine, and Limone. About thirty donors from Tremosine, led by Walter Gasparini, joined a dozen members from Tignale and Limone, along with half a dozen from the northernmost part of the park. Overall, the association counts around 1,500 donors spread across Valtenesi and the nine municipalities of the Alto Garda Park, all committed to ensuring the necessary support for donations. After a mass held at the parish church of Limone, the day continued with a lunch at a restaurant, during which deserving donors were awarded certificates of merit and honor medals. Donations from the Salò area, which also include contributions from Gavardo and Valtenesi, amount to approximately 4,500 bags of blood each year. This achievement represents a significant milestone for the association, which has been active since 1968 and is regarded as one of the most important associations in the Brescia area. Italian Version
