Riva del Garda: the panoramic elevator of the Bastion reopens

Riva del Garda reopened its panoramic elevator leading to the Bastione, one of the most iconic spots in the area, on Friday, December 5th. This innovative inclined elevator, featuring a fully glass cabin, provides a unique three-minute experience to admire the breathtaking views of the lake and the town center. With a height difference of 130 meters and a route shifted north compared to the original 1950s chairlift, the elevator offers a fascinating way to reach the Bastione Lounge & Restaurant and enjoy the spectacular scenery. To celebrate the reopening, visitors will have the chance to meet a special guest: the Grinch, who has chosen the Bastione as his second home during the holiday season. The event promises fun with lights and Christmas surprises, giving guests the opportunity to take photos with this beloved character. The elevator has a capacity limit of 17 people per ride, with free entry for children up to 11 years old and accompanying disabled individuals.
