Christmas in Manerba: inauguration of Minerva Luces and mechanical nativity scene

Starting from December 7, the Christmas season in Manerba will come alive with events that promise to enchant both residents and visitors. The heart of the celebrations will be in Solarolo, where today at 5:30 PM, the inauguration of Minerva Luces will take place. This event transforms the facade of the church in Piazza Aldo Moro into a spectacular dynamic screen through video mapping technology. Deputy Mayor Luca Beltrami described the concept as a journey between faith and science, culminating in the symbol of the nativity. The projections will be visible every day until January 11, from 5:30 PM until after midnight, accompanied by the illumination of Christmas lights. Simultaneously, from 6 PM to 8 PM, the little church of San Giovanni will host the mechanical nativity scene created by the Friends of San Bernardo, the largest in the province, covering 320 square meters and attracting over 30,000 visitors each year. Now in its 27th edition, this year’s display features updates such as a revamped stable and new movements of the characters. Admission is free, with donations appreciated for charity; reservations can be made through the dedicated call center. The nativity scene will be officially inaugurated tomorrow at 10 AM and will remain open until January 25, offering an engaging Christmas experience for all. Italian Version
