Andrea Vitali presents his novel in Salò: events and plots

Andrea Vitali will be present on Saturday, December 13 at 4 PM at the library in Salò to introduce his new novel, “The Remedies of Doctor Aiace Debouché,” published by Garzanti. The author, known for his works set in Bellano, will engage in a conversation with Roberta Ghirardi in an event that promises to attract many literature enthusiasts. The book, already a bestseller since its release on November 4, 2025, tells the adventures of Doctor Debouché as he seeks to tackle the health and social issues of the Bellanese community in the 1920s. The plot revolves around the figure of the doctor, who finds himself tasked with addressing a curious ailment widespread among his new fellow citizens: constipation. As he explores local dynamics and the peculiarities of his patients, Vitali offers us a comedic and engaging snapshot of life by the lake, characterized by eccentric characters and unpredictable situations.
