Bariatric Patient Evacuation in Riva del Garda: Firefighters Intervention

A **complex evacuation** took place on Wednesday, December 10, at 7:30 PM on Via Florida, in the historic center of **Riva del Garda**, where the **Fire Brigade** intervened to assist healthcare personnel in transporting a **bariatric patient** from their home to the ambulance. Due to the narrowness of the street, which was unsuitable for maneuvering the aerial platform, an alternative procedure was required, involving the exit through a window. The operation utilized a stretcher and SAF (Speleo Alpine River) techniques, designed for moving individuals in challenging situations. Four firefighters, supported by two operational vehicles, collaborated with the Trentino Emergenza ambulance service and the Croce Bianca Alto Garda ambulance. The intervention concluded without complications, thanks to the efficient coordination among the teams involved. Italian Version
