Sustainable mobility plan in Gardone Riviera: future of public transport

The Province of Brescia has initiated a plan for sustainable mobility, in collaboration with the Local Public Transport Agency, aimed at defining strategies for public transportation over the next ten years. This project, which will involve active local working groups in the early months of 2026, seeks to gather data and feedback from citizens, local authorities, and stakeholders to enhance the integration of various transport modes. Public consultations will help outline local needs and address issues such as optimizing bus routes and developing safe cycling paths. The entire project entails a total investment of 150,000 euros from the Province, divided into two phases: the first focused on territorial analysis and the second on drafting a strategic document that will guide future interventions. The Vice President of the Province, Fabio Rolfi, emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between the capital and the provincial territory in terms of public transport services. Soft mobility will be integrated into the existing system to ensure effective responses to the daily needs of citizens and tourists. Italian Version
