Roof fire in Calcinato: Firefighters in action

A fire broke out on the roof of a two-story house in the municipality of Calcinato during the early hours of the morning. The alert was raised at 4:52 AM when the Operations Room of the Firefighters received notification of the blaze. Several teams promptly responded to the scene, including those from Desenzano and an initial unit from Brescia, supported by three specialized vehicles, including a ladder truck and a water tanker. The flames caused damage to an area of approximately 50-60 square meters, but fortunately, no injuries have been reported. As a precaution, the intervention of the medical personnel from 118 was requested to carry out necessary checks on site. Currently, the Firefighters are still engaged in final extinguishing operations and securing the building to prevent any potential rekindling of the fire and to ensure the stability of the structure.
