Body recovery at Lake Garda: investigations by the Carabinieri underway

A body has been recovered from the waters of Lake Garda, specifically at the Manerba spring in Porto Torchio. The report was made to the Coast Guard, which promptly activated rescue operations, deploying the GC A58 vessel, a patrol car from the Carabinieri in Salò, and the Fire Brigade, along with 118 emergency personnel. The body, found floating and clothed, was positioned with its head facing the lakebed; after recovery, it was placed on the dock where medical personnel could only confirm the death.
