Roundabout paving in Nago Torbole: impacts on the Garda Cycle Path

A temporary closure of State Road 240 is scheduled for today, Tuesday, December 16, in Nago Torbole, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, to allow for the asphalting of the new roundabout on Via Matteotti. These works are part of the broader project of the Garda Cycle Path, specifically Functional Unit 18, which connects the center of Torbole to Riva del Garda and is expected to be completed by February 2026. During the closure, traffic on the Riva del Garda-Rovereto route will be diverted towards Arco via alternative paths. Detours and interruptions will be clearly marked on-site to ensure the safety of motorists and workers. The initiative aims to improve traffic flow in the area and promote a more sustainable use of local infrastructure through the development of the cycle path, a long-awaited project for both residents and tourists.
