Salò Cuts Costs on Theater and Ongoing Public Works

Salò has announced a significant saving of €2.4 million for its new theater project, resulting from a year and a half of redesign efforts between the local administration and the Brescia Theater Center. The total cost of the project has been reduced to €1,456,000 due to cost optimization and restructuring of the planned lots, alongside savings from lower interest rates on a €4.8 million loan. This project represents a key investment in the municipal budget, highlighting the administration’s commitment to enhancing public works.

In addition to the theater, Salò is planning other public works valued at €6.1 million, which will focus on urban mobility improvements and hydrogeological safety measures. Initiatives include new roundabouts, road maintenance, and public space revitalization projects. Mayor Francesco Cagnini and Budget Assessor Fabiana Vanzani emphasized that these projects are part of a shared vision to make the city safer and more welcoming, while addressing the needs of the Salò community.
