Sustainable Lighting Revamp Set for Desenzano del Garda
Desenzano del Garda and Rivoltella are set to undergo a relamping initiative aimed at enhancing sustainable lighting in their historic centers. The local administration has allocated €70,000 to standardize light fixtures, improving both aesthetic appeal and energy efficiency in key areas, including Piazza Duomo, Piazza Malvezzi, Porto Vecchio, and several alleys in Desenzano, as well as Piazza Francoli and main streets in Rivoltella.
Public Works Councillor Giovanni Maiolo emphasized the project’s role in urban renewal, noting that the new lighting will enhance the urban landscape and promote energy savings. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring, contingent on favorable weather conditions for the workers involved.
