Calvagese della Riviera Unveils New Library for Inclusive Culture
Calvagese della Riviera is set to inaugurate its new library in 2026, supported by Regione Lombardia through the “Avviso Unico Cultura 2025” funding program. The municipality has allocated these regional funds for purchasing furnishings and multimedia equipment, relocating the library to the Centro Sociale Polifunzionale “Aldo Cominelli” on Via Paolo Borsellino. This new location enhances accessibility and meets safety requirements, addressing limitations of the previous site.
The library aims to serve as an inclusive cultural center, fostering social interaction and intergenerational integration. It will offer a space for community members to engage in cultural and recreational activities, promoting overall community well-being. The library is expected to reopen at the beginning of the new year, following the completion of the move by December 20.
