Baroque Music Takes Center Stage at Desenzano del Garda Christmas Concert

The Christmas Concert will take place on December 23 at the Cathedral of Desenzano del Garda, kicking off the 2025/2026 concert season organized by Garda Lake Music Excellence. The Cremona Antiqua Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Antonio Greco, will perform a program focused on Baroque Europe, offering an evening of classical music and tradition. This event is part of a rich calendar featuring nine concerts leading up to Easter, all free for attendees.

The season was launched on December 14 with a special concert at the “A. Celesti” Auditorium and includes significant upcoming events such as the New Year’s Concert on December 29 and performances by young talents from the Garda Lake Prestige Academy in February. Artistic Director Luca Ranieri emphasized the cultural importance of this initiative, which not only highlights classical music but also fosters community identity through accessible events.
