Villa Gemma Launches New Osteoporosis Center in Salò

Villa Gemma in Salò has been officially integrated into the Lombardy regional network for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of osteoporosis, marking a significant achievement for the facility. This initiative, part of the regional diabetic-endocrinological network, designates Villa Gemma as the only accredited private clinic in the province of Brescia within this second-level network, alongside ASST Valle Camonica and ASST Garda.

Osteoporosis, a chronic condition primarily affecting the elderly, particularly postmenopausal women, will benefit from Villa Gemma’s integrated approach, which includes specialized outpatient care and diagnostic imaging. The clinic’s multidisciplinary team, comprising specialists, radiologists, and physiotherapists, collaborates to provide continuous patient monitoring and personalized treatment plans, enhancing accessibility and focusing on patient needs in local healthcare.
