Salò Mourns Jessica Caratti and Community Grieves Loss
A large crowd gathered at Salò Cathedral on December 30 to pay tribute to Jessica Caratti, a 45-year-old woman who died following a severe horseback riding accident in Toscolano Maderno on December 23. Jessica was transferred to Brescia’s Civil Hospital and passed away on Christmas Day after two days of hospitalization.
Jessica, a resident of San Michele in Gardone Riviera, was known for her work at the local Info Point in Salò. Her funeral was attended by family, friends, and local officials, and she was buried in Gardone Riviera’s cemetery. The service was held indoors due to space constraints at the cathedral’s piazza.
