Trento’s Garda Cycle Path Champions Landscape Preservation and Titan Gallery

Trento’s provincial agency has initiated a tender process for a 930-meter section of the Garda Cycleway, connecting the Galleria dei Titani to Galleria Aurora along the SS45 bis. The project aims to improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians between Limone and the Trentino border, with updated plans to minimize environmental impact and protect surrounding cliffs, including natural tunnel segments and protective measures against rockfalls.

Construction involves steel structures anchored to existing tunnels, with added barriers on tunnel roofs. The project’s base cost is approximately €10.9 million, with an expected duration of 800 days. Bids must be submitted by February 13, 2026.
