Alto Garda: Body of Young Indian Worker Recovered from Canal

A 35-year-old Indian man, employed as a seasonal worker in Alto Garda, was found dead in a canal near Castel Penede in Nago-Torbole on January 7. His disappearance on January 6 was reported by a friend, prompting an extensive search involving Alpine rescue teams, canine units, and an emergency helicopter.

The body was located in a remote area, confirming it was an accidental death. Authorities are now investigating the incident’s circumstances, and the victim’s remains have been recovered and handed over to the authorities.
