Desenzano Hosts Inaugural Stragardalake with Over 3,000 Runners from Italy and Abroad

Over 3,000 runners from 19 countries participated in the inaugural Stragardalake event in Desenzano, Italy, with races including a half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km Urban route. The half marathon started at 9:00 a.m. along Lake Garda, reaching Torre di San Martino before returning to Desenzano via the lakeside promenade; the 10 km and 5 km races began from the lakeside and city center, passing landmarks such as Piazza Matteotti, the Castle, and Villa Romana.

The event was supported by local authorities, volunteers, and law enforcement, with race officials and dignitaries present at the start and finish lines. Food and music areas were set up for participants, and organizers announced the next edition scheduled for 2027.
